Bremerton Marathon

Locations for 2024

Parking

Olympic College (1600 Chester Ave, Bremerton, WA 98337) - Recommended for those running the marathon or parking at the finish during the half.

Evergreen Rotary Park: Volunteers, sponsors, and spectators not able to walk a few blocks from Olympic College.

Newberry Hill Heritage Park: Marathoners parking at the starting line and coming back to get their cars after the race.  Remember the half-marathon is a point to point - no shuttles!


Early Check-in (encouraged!)

Aid Station #1 

Times: 7:15 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.

Location: North Perry Fire Station (3725 Trenton Ave) 

Mileage: Marathon - 3.3 miles

Hosted by: Roxy Theater. 

Menu: H20 Refined water and Fruit Snacks.  

Bathrooms: Port-a-potty at the aid-station.

Route: Marathon course only.


Aid Station #2

Times: 7:45 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.

Location: Brownsville Elementary (8795 Illahee Road NE)

Mileage: Marathon - 7.0 miles

Menu: H20 Refined Water, Prozis Energy Gels (non caffeinated), and Mini Kind Bars  

Bathrooms: Port-a-potty behind the aid station in Brownsville Elementary fields.

Aid Station #3

Times: 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

Location: Central Valley Animal Hospital (10310 Central Valley Rd NE)

Mileage: Marathon - 11.5 miles

Aid Station #4

Times: 8:45 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.

Location:  Old Mill Park (2901 NW Bucklin Hill Rd)

Mileage: Marathon - 13.9 miles

Bathrooms: None!  Public bathrooms open at Silverdale Waterfront Park at Marathon Mile 15  (3337 NW Byron St)

Half-Marathon Starting Line

Times: Check-in/Registration - 8:00 a.m. - 8:45 a.m., Race Start - 9:00 a.m.

Location: Newberry Hill Heritage Park - Parking lot (Unnamed Road near 7607 NW Newberry Hill Rd) 

Mileage: Half-Marathon Start

Location: Near NAD Park (6108 Kitsap Way)

Mileage: Marathon Mile 20.1 miles, Half-Marathon 7.0 miles

Location: Bremerton High School - Parking Lot (1310 11th St)

Mileage: Marathon Mile 23.2 miles, Half-Marathon - 10.1 miles

Finish Line

Times: 10:15 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Location: Evergreen Rotary Park

Mileage: Marathon Mile 26.2 miles, Half-Marathon 13.1

*Times based on predicted times: marathon 8 min/mile pace (3:30:00 finish) as the fastest and 16 min/mile pace (7:00:00 finish) as the slowest.  And for the half marathon: 6 min 50 sec min/mile pace as the fastest (1:30:00 finish) and 22 min 54 sec min/mile pace as the slowest (5:00:00 finish).
